Welcome to South Boulder
South Boulder saw much of its growth in the early 1950’s, 60’s and 70’s and offers easy accessibility to Highway 36, Golden, and Denver. South Boulder features a variety of home styles, from ranch homes and bi-levels, to large high-end custom homes. South Boulder residents enjoy established neighborhoods on either side of Table Mesa Dr, along with the presence of the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) and the National Institute of Standards of Technology (NIST). The multi-use paths are well suited for commuters and families alike, while access to a variety of trailheads and Open Space is unparalleled. Expansive views, walkability to the foothills and the Flatirons, combined easy access to downtown Boulder are only a couple of reasons why South Boulder has a loyal following and life-long residents. The heart of south Boulder is the Table Mesa Shopping Center, where you will find 2 large grocery stores, The Southern Sun & Under the Sun Brewery Restaurants, the Walnut Cafe, Sweet Cow Ice Cream and many more options. Schools in the area include award-winning Bear Creek and Mesa Elementary, as well as Southern Hill Middle School and Fairview High. A short trip down Broadway leads to Marshall Mesa hiking/mountain biking, Davidson Mesa, and Eldorado Canyon State Park.
